In times of confinement, families systematically take two meals together. What does this imply?We must first remember, this second meal can be a source of material difficulty for certain families. Perhaps confinement can just restore these family times.

How to organize meals, between teleworking, school homework and household chores?

What is essential in a standard family, with two or three children, is to define a timetable, week after week, with defined meal times. We can also specify who will prepare the meal, at what time, adapting to everyone’s schedule.

This also makes it possible to plan pleasant common times, while in a period of confinement, there is a thousand and one occasions to rub shoulders. This is fundamental: on the three meals of the day – breakfast, lunch and dinner, let’s try to at least take two all together.

What is the role of the meal today in families?

It allows you to rebuild the link, to transmit too. You can test new recipes or apply Grandma’s recipes. Maybe it is not every day, but at least twice a week. The culinary tradition is important to register in a long time. At the rate of two recipes per week over two months, that makes 16 recipes. Not bad is not it?
